The project

The brief: keep the existing dome and completely reimagine it to match the club’s identity. IN/OFF designed, engineered and built a second structure just below the dome, following its exact shape. It carries the lighting and lets plants grow directly on it, turning the space into a giant garden canopy.

H.R. Giger is the main reference, visible in the vertebra-shaped elements made for the structure: plants and metal, organic and mechanical. At the centre stands the Tree of Life, a monumental sculpture produced through 3D design and handcrafted fabrication.

The bar draws on the shapes of a boat hull and human ribs. It was engineered and fabricated in steel by IN/OFF.
